Undefeated 49ers Go Sack-Free Through Four Games

The undefeated San Francisco 49ers improved to 4-0 with a 24-14 win over the Denver Broncos, scoring 21 points in the second half after a 3-3 tie at halftime. San Francisco became the first NFL team since the 2005 Indianapolis Colts to avoid allowing a sack in each of its first four games. Veteran playmakers powered the win: George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Mike Evans contributed key receiving plays, while Christian McCaffrey scored on the ground. The 49ers’ 11 receiving touchdowns by players aged 30 or older are the most by a team through four games in NFL history.
