Saints Not Expecting Tyson at Practice Next Week
Saints coach Kellen Moore said rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is not currently expected to resume practicing next week, though he left open the possibility that plans could change. Tyson, the eighth overall pick, has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring during an Aug. 13 joint practice and is eligible to return after New Orleans’ game against Atlanta. Eligibility would allow the Saints to open a three-week practice window, but it does not mean Tyson is ready to play; his recovery timeline and history of hamstring problems may prompt the team to take extra care. New Orleans has been productive through the air without him, while Tyson is expected to add another receiving option alongside Chris Olave when he is healthy.
