McVay Hopes Rams Avoid Future Australia Games

Rams coach Sean McVay said at his Thursday press conference he hopes Los Angeles is not playing in Australia ever again after a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Rams arrived roughly a day before the game; the 49ers had been in Australia a full week. McVay likened moving on to a Men in Black memory wipe, then added the atmosphere was great so the remark would not be taken out of context. He accepted blame for the travel-schedule decision and said the schedule was not responsible for the defeat.
