The Milwaukee Bucks moved their Oct. 23 home opener against the Chicago Bulls from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Fiserv Forum. The NBA approved the schedule change. World Series Game 1 will be played that night at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The Brewers reached their first World Series since 1982 by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. On Oct. 16, 2026, the Bucks announced the move in a statement posted on X. The team said the Brewers' return to the World Series for the first time in 44 years is a special moment for Milwaukee and sports fans across Wisconsin, congratulated the Brewers and the entire organization, said the Bucks are proud to move the home opener to 3 p.m. in recognition of the occasion, and thanked the NBA. LaFleur said, "I want to support the Brewers. That was pretty cool to watch last night." The Brewers' AL opponent will be either the Cleveland Guardians or the Tampa Bay Rays. The Guardians led the ALCS 2-1 at the time of the reports.

They made the right call avoiding the overlap but afternoon starts always feel off for basketball.
Shifting to 3 p.m. is practical since Milwaukee rarely gets a World Series home game and the city should enjoy both teams.
Glad the Bucks moved the game earlier so fans can actually see both the opener and the Brewers in the World Series that day.
