Sports Shows Debate MLB, NFL, NBA

The Phillies’ postseason ended with a 6-2 loss to the Braves, after Aaron Nola gave up a first-inning three-run homer; broadcaster John Kruk said he would have started Zack Wheeler instead, while interim manager Don Mattingly preferred Wheeler in relief. A sports-radio discussion questioned whether the Dodgers’ decision to start Tarik Skubal in Game 1 of the NLDS slighted ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, alongside a look at NFL betting. Another segment examined whether the Pistons are making a mistake by not offering Jalen Duren a maximum extension and previewed other MLB postseason headlines. A separate sports show raised concerns about Drake Maye’s shoulder and coaching situation, the Red Sox’s season, and Aaron Rodgers’ reported bad mushroom trip.
