Colts Release Darius Slayton Four Weeks After Signing Him

The Indianapolis Colts released wide receiver Darius Slayton about four weeks after signing him, ending their attempt to add a deep threat while Alec Pierce is injured. Slayton, who spent seven seasons with the New York Giants, never played a snap for Indianapolis; a knee injury also kept him out of the lineup. He is now looking for another team.
