Patriots left tackle Campbell injures same knee again

Patriots left tackle Will Campbell left Sunday's 45-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders after injuring his right knee in the first half and was ruled out for the remainder. Ian Rapoport reported the injury is believed to be a knee sprain. Campbell will have an MRI on Monday to confirm the diagnosis and is expected to miss time. He previously suffered an MCL sprain in that knee in Week 12 last season, spent four games on injured reserve, and returned for Week 18 and the postseason. Caleb Lomu, a 2026 first-round pick, replaced Campbell at left tackle for the rest of the game. musketfire.com reported Lomu allowed one pressure and no quarterback hits on 29 pass-blocking snaps. Campbell was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft; musketfire.com cited his 73.2 PFF grade (16th among tackles), a pass-block grade ranking 12th, and two quarterback hits and one sack allowed this season. TreVeyon Henderson also exited with an ankle injury and was ruled out. No contested facts were identified. The MRI will determine how long Campbell misses.
