Jets, 49ers Win; Chargers, Saints Fall

The 0-5 Los Angeles Chargers’ 23-17 loss to Denver has raised questions about whether general manager Joe Hortiz will reshape the roster ahead of the trade deadline. Pass rusher Tuli Tuipulotu and receiver Quentin Johnston have been floated as possible trade candidates, as both approach the end of their current contracts; Tuipulotu is coming off a Pro Bowl season and remains a defensive bright spot. Separate speculation has also linked veteran Khalil Mack to a possible trade to one of his former teams, though the available report does not identify a destination. The loss featured late mistakes by Justin Herbert, while running back Kimani Vidal and rookie pass rusher Akheem Mesidor stood out positively.
