Broncos Beat Seahawks 17-14 on OT Field Goal

The Denver Broncos beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 in overtime after Ja’Quan McMillian intercepted Sam Darnold to set up Will Lutz’s 53-yard game-winning field goal. Denver led 14-3 at halftime, but Seattle rallied with a George Holani touchdown, a two-point conversion and a late field goal to tie the game. Denver’s defense recorded five sacks and 17 quarterback hits, while Darnold threw two interceptions and took responsibility for the turnovers; Coach Mike Macdonald said he was not considering replacing Darnold as the starter. Kris Abrams-Draine also intercepted Darnold late in regulation, but Denver failed to run out the clock and Seattle forced overtime. Denver improved to 4-2, while Seattle fell to 3-3 after its second loss in five days.
