Five NFL Players Ruled Out With Injuries

Denver cornerback Pat Surtain II will miss his second straight game, sitting out Thursday’s matchup with Seattle because of an ankle injury. Four other players were ruled out during Sunday games: Lions receiver Tom Kennedy (knee), Titans cornerback Cordale Flott (chest), Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) and Raiders defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway (neck). Detroit assigned return duties to Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Micah Robinson replaced Flott at cornerback for Tennessee. In Chicago, D’Marco Jackson is calling defensive plays and Noah Sewell is expected to take over at middle linebacker. Las Vegas is relying on Folorunso Fatukasi and Thomas Booker at defensive tackle.
