Former President Barack Obama is scheduled to rally with Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown and gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton in Cleveland on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026. Organizers confirmed he will join them to rally Ohio voters and get out the vote. The exact location has not yet been publicly released. The stop is Obama's first Ohio visit since 2018, when he campaigned for Rich Cordray. He is also set to campaign in Michigan the same day. Brown is running against Republican Sen. Jon Husted for the seat formerly held by Vice President JD Vance. Acton is the Democratic nominee for governor. In a video statement, Obama said Brown has always fought for working people, standing up to big corporations, Wall Street, and pharmaceutical companies. Acton wrote on Facebook that it will take all of us to win and now is the time to get in the fight. Trump and Vance held three Ohio rallies in 10 days. Obama won Ohio both times he was on the ballot. No contested claims found in the record.

This rally might help Acton connect with voters who already know and trust Brown from his Senate work.
Obama coming back to Ohio after all these years should give Brown and Acton a solid boost in Cleveland.
