Russian Attacks Kill 41 Across Ukraine
Russian attacks killed at least 41 people and wounded 67 across Ukraine over the past day, according to Ukrainian officials, with the heaviest toll in Donetsk Oblast. In Kramatorsk, 32 people were reported killed, including in a glide-bomb strike on two civilian buses; glide-bomb attacks on Zaporizhzhia killed one person and injured seven, including a child. Russia launched 136 drones overnight, including 93 jet-powered Shahed-type drones, and Ukraine said its air defenses destroyed or suppressed 114; strikes and falling debris were reported at multiple locations, damaging homes and critical infrastructure. Ukraine has been deploying AI-guided robotic turrets to intercept jet-powered drones, and officials have reported successful interceptions in Kyiv. Ukraine has also said it plans to use domestically developed small missiles against the drones and is seeking ammunition supplies for F-16s, while Bars interceptor drones have shown early results.
