Russian Attacks Kill Civilians Across Ukraine

Russian attacks across Ukraine over several days killed civilians and wounded dozens; reported tolls varied by date, with the latest account saying four people were killed and 30 injured in the past day, while an earlier report said at least seven were killed and more than 50 wounded. Kyiv and its surrounding region were repeatedly targeted. In the latest overnight barrage, Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 188 missiles and drones, and air defenses intercepted 160 aerial targets; strikes were recorded at 18 locations. Attacks also damaged homes and port facilities in Odesa and railway infrastructure in Vinnytsia, where more than 15,000 consumers lost power, with civilian casualties reported in several other regions. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said there were no new pledges of Patriot interceptors and urged member states to supply missiles from existing stocks while longer-term procurement proceeds.
