Masked Israeli settlers attacked a European diplomatic convoy visiting the West Bank village of Taibeh during the olive harvest, targeting diplomats from France, Belgium and Poland. Reports say seven assailants surrounded the vehicles, demanded identification, threw stones and smashed a Belgian consulate vehicle’s window; video showed a diplomat pushed or knocked to the ground. Israeli police said they had opened an investigation and would seek to identify those responsible.

Whose framing of this story rings truest to you?
European diplomats have every right to visit villages like Taibeh without being assaulted by masked attackers.
The settlers who smashed that window and knocked someone down should face real charges instead of the usual lack of follow-through.
Attacking foreign diplomats during an olive harvest visit only makes the situation in the West Bank worse for everyone involved.
