Week 6 reshaped the College Football Playoff picture and SEC race. Georgia beat Alabama 20-17 to remain unbeaten and strengthen its case for the top spot, while Oklahoma handed Texas its first loss. Kentucky also upset LSU in overtime, and Tennessee earned a road win over Arkansas. Indiana stayed undefeated with a narrow victory over Nebraska, while Notre Dame, Miami and UCLA also featured among the teams in the updated playoff projection. The SEC standings shifted after several ranked teams fell, leaving Georgia as the conference’s only unbeaten team.
