South Carolina Ends SEC Skid With Win Over Florida

South Carolina ended its eight-game SEC losing streak with a 38-19 road win over No. 16 Florida. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns without an interception and added a rushing score. The Gamecocks outscored Florida 14-3 in the third quarter and forced three turnovers, after recording only two in their first five games. Florida, without injured receiver Vernell Brown III, managed little after an early touchdown. Lightning delayed the game at halftime, and South Carolina secured the win ahead of its bye week.
