Grambling rallies past No. 22 Jackson State 45-38

Grambling State beat No. 22 Jackson State 45-38 before 15,434 fans. Jacobe Robinson came off the bench, completed 17 of 21 passes for 212 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for 52 yards and a score. D'Shaun Ford's 1-yard touchdown with 1:36 left made it 42-38, and Marcellius Johnson's interception set up a late field goal for the final margin. Jackson State started 14-0 on Li'Darious Pryor's 25-yard run and Justin Foster's 11-yard fumble return, then led 21-7 before Grambling tied the game 21-21 at halftime. After a Jackson State 48-yard field goal in the third, Robinson hit Patrick Williams II for a go-ahead score and opened the fourth with a 54-yard touchdown strike. Caron Tyler's touchdown pass to Jency Riley Jr. and Pryor's third rushing touchdown put Jackson State up 38-35 before Grambling answered. Grambling gained 438 yards; Tyson George had eight catches for 93 yards and a touchdown; Ford rushed for 71 yards. AP framed Jackson State as unbeaten at 5-1, 2-1 and called it the first loss; other accounts listed Jackson State at 5-2, 2-2 and one described a second straight loss after a 5-0 start.
