Tennessee ends Fayetteville drought, beats Arkansas 24-17

No. 15 Tennessee beat Arkansas 24-17 in Fayetteville, earning its first win there since 2001 and ending a four-game road losing streak against the Razorbacks. Making his first career start, quarterback George MacIntyre threw for 247 yards as Tennessee built a lead in a defensive struggle. Arkansas rallied in the second half, and Max Gilbert’s 55-yard field goal tied the game at 17 with 7:20 remaining. After an interception and a Tennessee punt, DeSean Bishop broke loose for a 59-yard run and later scored the game-winning touchdown, finishing with 138 rushing yards. The loss extended Arkansas’ SEC losing streak to 14 games.
