Broncos Rally, Send Chargers to 0-5

The Denver Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers 23-17, improving to 3-2 and leaving the Chargers winless at 0-5. After trailing 17-10 in the fourth quarter, Denver capitalized on Jim Harbaugh’s decision to go for it on fourth-and-1 from the Chargers’ 41-yard line: Justin Herbert was stopped short, and Bo Nix soon threw a tying touchdown to Courtland Sutton. Denver then forced a Herbert fumble and intercepted him, adding two field goals to secure the win. Sean Payton’s return to offensive play-calling did little to fix the Broncos’ struggles, while Herbert’s turnovers continued to haunt Los Angeles.
