Seahawks Add Diggs, Place Neal on Injured Reserve

The Seattle Seahawks signed cornerback Trevon Diggs from their practice squad to the active roster ahead of their game against the San Francisco 49ers. Diggs made his Seattle debut the previous week, playing nine defensive snaps, and could add depth to a secondary dealing with injuries. The former All-Pro is seeking to reestablish himself after recent knee injuries and uneven seasons with Dallas and Green Bay. Seattle placed rookie cornerback Julian Neal on injured reserve with a hamstring injury; wide receiver Irv Charles was also ruled out.
