Houthi Attacks Kill Three at Saudi Airports
Saudi authorities said Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha airport on October 6 and 7 killed three people and injured 36. The Houthis said they used missiles and drones, and Saudi-led coalition forces said they retaliated with strikes on Houthi military sites in Yemen. The escalation comes as Saudi-backed Yemeni forces launch a counteroffensive, raising concerns about renewed fighting and threats to regional transport routes. An Air India flight from Delhi to Riyadh turned back mid-flight, and Air India and Air India Express suspended Riyadh services through October 10. India condemned the attacks, calling the targeting of civilian infrastructure unacceptable.
