Houthis Claim Strike on Aramco Facility Near Riyadh

Yemen’s Houthi movement said it launched ballistic missiles and drones at an Aramco facility near Riyadh, and an AFP journalist reported seeing flames and smoke; Saudi authorities and Aramco had not confirmed a strike. Yemen’s internationally recognized government and the Saudi-led coalition called the claim misleading, while government forces reported retaliatory strikes on Houthi-controlled areas, including Sanaa and Saada. Separately, Saudi air defenses intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile aimed toward Khamis Mushait; falling debris caused limited damage to buildings and vehicles, with no casualties reported. The coalition also accused the Houthis of targeting a power station serving Medina’s Prophet’s Mosque, an allegation the Houthis denied.
