Bryan Seaver, Dolly Parton's nephew and longtime head of security, filed a motion in Tennessee on Oct. 2 asking to postpone an Oct. 9 restraining-order hearing by about 10 days, potentially to Oct. 19. Representing himself, he said the defendants lack legal knowledge or skills to proceed without retained counsel. A lawyer he hopes to hire cannot meet until Oct. 5. He does not object to extending the order during the delay. Chancellor I'Ashea L. Myles has not ruled. She's Alive, LLC obtained the temporary restraining order in late September after the estate terminated Seaver and his security company. Allegations include threats, intimidation, coercion, and demands for money. Filings allege he said everyone needs to be worried about what he might do. Seaver told TMZ he was dismayed and that most of the comments he stands by, saying he was talking frankly in private with Danny who he thought was his friend. On Aug. 25 he announced Parton's death at age 80 from unspecified cancer on Instagram, calling it an honor mixed with absolute pride and great sadness, and saying sadness lies with us, not with Dolly. The delay request remains pending.

No center coverage yet — a bubble gap.
Ten days to hire someone sounds reasonable when it's your own nephew asking over family property issues.
The court might as well push the date back because rushing a hearing without counsel helps no one involved.
He should get the extra time to line up a lawyer since this involves estate matters and his long role in the family.
