Phoenix Suns guard Luke Kennard left Wednesday’s preseason game against the San Antonio Spurs after awkwardly landing during a drive to the basket in the second quarter. Reports described an apparent left-leg or lower-left-knee injury; the Suns ruled him out for the rest of the game, but its severity was not immediately known. Kennard, a 3-point specialist expected to bolster Phoenix’s perimeter shooting, had recently joined the team as a free agent.
