September short interest increased sharply for the Pacer American Energy Independence ETF, up 131% to 27,349 shares, and the Pacer Swan SOS Moderate (April) ETF, up 176.2% to 7,815 shares. It fell for the AXS Astoria Real Assets ETF by 70.8% to 14,106 shares, the ProShares Inflation Expectations ETF by 89.4% to 777 shares, and the Pacer Trendpilot European Index ETF by 65.9% to 332 shares. The reported short positions represented small portions of each fund’s shares outstanding, ranging from roughly 0.0% to 1.1%.
