Short interest fell sharply in two crypto investment funds during September: Grayscale Bitcoin Covered Call ETF’s short position declined 57.5%, while iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF’s fell 60.1%. By contrast, short interest in Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust more than doubled, rising 111%. Despite these changes, reported short positions remained small relative to trading volume across all three funds.
