Celtics Complete 4-0 Preseason With Overtime Win Over 76ers

Boston completed the preseason 4-0 with a 125-120 overtime win over Philadelphia, resting most of its regular rotation while the Sixers played several regulars. Hugo González led the Celtics with 21 points, while Joel Embiid scored a game-high 27 for Philadelphia. Boston’s reserves took advantage of 18 offensive rebounds and 13 steals, though the Celtics committed 24 turnovers. Philadelphia also faces a shortage of center depth after Ariel Hukporti suffered a season-ending Achilles injury, and Trey Jemison became a potential option after Toronto waived him. In New York, cuts to several big men gave James Wiseman a clearer path to a Knicks roster spot, though his place was not guaranteed.
