Steelers Injury Update Ahead of Bucs

Pittsburgh travels to Tampa Bay for a Week 6 game with playoff implications. Rico Dowdle, who has missed three games since dislocating a toe in Week 2, practiced fully late in the week and is listed as questionable; Jaylen Warren is expected to remain the Steelers’ lead back. Keeanu Benton progressed from limited practice to full participation and is questionable, as are DK Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey and Jamel Dean. Pittsburgh will be without receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek, as well as safety DeShon Elliott; T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward finished the week practicing fully. Benton’s status matters against a Tampa Bay rushing attack that gained 165 yards and scored a touchdown through Bucky Irving last week, while the Steelers have recently limited opposing running backs. The game begins a demanding stretch for Pittsburgh, with four road games in its next five, including a trip to Paris.
