Boise State Beats Fresno State 38-31
No. 23 Boise State beat Fresno State 38-31 in Fresno, extending its winning streak to five games and ending a three-game skid against the Bulldogs. Dylan Riley led Boise State with 214 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns, including a 72-yard run and a 44-yard reception; Sire Gaines added 120 rushing yards and a score. Quarterback Maddux Madsen threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns as Boise State outgained Fresno State 512-346 and held the ball for nearly 39 minutes. Fresno State cut the deficit to seven with 9:14 remaining, but Boise State ran down the clock on a long drive, added a late field goal and recovered an onside kick. The loss ended Fresno State’s four-game winning streak; Ezekiel Avit had two touchdown catches, and Jaydan Mandal scored through the air and on the ground.
