Smoke Raises Air Concerns Across Multiple Cities
Wildfire smoke is disrupting daily life in Manaus, Brazil, where unhealthy air led officials to suspend in-person work at municipal offices, cancel public-school classes and urge residents to wear masks. Separately, haze from Indonesian fires has pushed Singapore’s air quality into the unhealthy range ahead of the Grand Prix; the FIA is monitoring conditions but does not currently expect them to affect racing, and drivers have said heat and humidity concern them more.
