No. 24 Mississippi State rallied in the fourth quarter to beat No. 19 Missouri 31-24, handing the Tigers their first loss of the season. Missouri fell behind 14-0, then used a Trajen Greco interception and Cayden Lee's 21-yard touchdown screen to lead 24-17 entering the fourth. Fluff Bothwell's touchdown run tied it 24-24 with 7:09 left. Kamario Taylor then hit Anthony Evans for 48 yards and Sanfrisco Magee for a 24-yard score. Missouri went three-and-out beforehand; its four fourth-quarter drives averaged five plays and 18.25 yards with no points, and the final drive reached the Mississippi State 38 before falling short. This was the Tigers' ninth straight loss to an AP-ranked foe; their last ranked win was 27-21 over No. 24 Boston College on Sept. 14, 2024. Coach Eliah Drinkwitz said: "They made plays in the fourth quarter to win the game, we didn’t. We had our opportunities and didn’t get it done." He called Greco’s interception huge for momentum and said the team will rally up and figure out how to do it again next week. No contested facts found.
