NBA Teams Make Widespread Preseason Roster Moves
NBA teams made a series of preseason roster moves, often signing players to Exhibit 10 contracts that can lead to bonuses if they join a team’s G League affiliate. The Mavericks cycled through Matt Cross, Darin Green Jr. and Chris Mantis before signing Jorge Diaz Graham, who may remain with Dallas after the team assigned him No. 23; the Clippers also brought back Fletcher Loyer, while the Jazz waived Mohamed Wague. Elsewhere, the Spurs waived RJ Davis, the Pelicans waived Caleb Houstan, and the Kings and Hawks made additional cuts. Memphis signed Zach Cleveland to an Exhibit 10 deal, while several waived players could continue with G League affiliates, depending on their contract terms.
