NASCAR’s Three National Series Set for Charlotte Weekend

NASCAR’s Cup, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck Series will race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Oct. 9–11, with the Truck race Friday, O’Reilly race Saturday and Cup race Sunday. The fall event returns to the track’s 1.5-mile oval for the first time since 2017, replacing the Roval layout. The weekend’s headline Cup event is the Bank of America 400, and all entered Cup and Truck competitors are set to make their fields; one O’Reilly entry will be excluded because 38 cars are entered for 36 spots. Teams are also hosting fan events in the Charlotte area ahead of and during race weekend.
