Musk says SpaceXAI will become SpaceXSI
On September 29, President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to replace "artificial intelligence" and "AI" with "Super Intelligence" and "SI." Early Sunday on X, Elon Musk posted "No more AI," then "SI," then "It's better," and said "SpaceX is a super intelligence company." Asked whether SpaceXAI would become SpaceXSI, he replied "Yes, we will make that change." That day Musk sat beside Trump as AI company heads signed a voluntary safety accord and later corrected "A.I." to "S.I." mid-sentence with reporters. SpaceX bought xAI on February 2 at a $1.25 trillion combined value; after a May plan to dissolve xAI, the unit became SpaceXAI on July 6. SpaceXSI would be its third name since February and houses Grok, X, Memphis Colossus clusters, and Cursor. AutoSpies cast the rename as already done. Other coverage notes no timeline for legal name, handle, or Grok branding. Sam Altman still says "AI"; Jensen Huang has called data centers "super intelligence factories." Musk is advising the Pentagon's Project Meridian study. Trump raised the terminology at the UN last month.
