Former Boulder Supervisor Arrested in Stalking, Peeping Case
David Wise, a former Boulder Valley School District childcare supervisor at Mesa Elementary, was arrested after a police investigation into alleged peeping incidents at locations across downtown Boulder between February 2024 and August 2026. Police say a tip led investigators to Wise, whose electronic devices reportedly contained photographic evidence, information about additional victims and suspected child sexual abuse material downloaded from the internet. He faces felony charges including stalking, child sexual exploitation and burglary, as well as misdemeanor invasion-of-privacy counts. BVSD placed Wise on leave in August and fired him after his arrest. Police say they have no current information indicating students were among the victims, but the investigation is ongoing and additional victims or charges are possible.
