Bexar Sheriff Seeks IDs After Trump Rally
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify people pictured in a flyer and provide information about altercations at President Donald Trump’s Oct. 7 rally at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. Investigators are reviewing reports and video, but have not said that the seven people pictured are suspects or that a crime has been established. Deputies escorted 18 people from the rally for disruptive behavior, issued two criminal-trespass warnings and made no arrests. News outlets’ reviews of footage identified several apparent assaults on protesters as they were escorted out, including a hair-pulling and a push down the Coliseum stairs. Sheriff Javier Salazar said victims may choose whether to pursue charges and urged anyone with information to contact the office.
