Alabama Fan Shoves Georgia Linebacker After Loss

After Georgia beat Alabama 20-17 in Tuscaloosa, video showed an Alabama fan reaching over a barrier and shoving Bulldogs linebacker Raylen Wilson’s helmet as players headed toward the tunnel. Wilson walked away without escalating the encounter and later said he initially thought the fan was a Georgia supporter. Objects were also thrown toward Georgia players, and staff urged them to keep their helmets on while leaving the field. The footage prompted calls for the fan to be banned, but the reports provide no confirmation of a ban or other disciplinary action. A separate allegation that the fan used a racial slur remains unverified because the audio is unclear.
