Aquariums are drawing attention for both their animal encounters and conservation work, from rescue kittens exploring an underwater tunnel and a South African aquarium’s newly featured basket star to seasonal programs and visitor experiences across the U.S. They also care for animals throughout their lives, as the New England Aquarium honored three longtime residents that recently died.
