Olympic gold medalist Hezly Rivera withdrew from the gymnastics world championships with a left ankle injury, and alternate Dulcy Caylor will take her place on the U.S. team. Rivera had modified or skipped events during training; her absence is a setback for a U.S. squad seeking to qualify a full team for the 2028 Olympics and extend its world team-title streak.
