About Hail

Hail is the first LP album released in 1988 by New Zealand band, Straitjacket Fits. There were three releases of the album, a New Zealand release in 1988, a United Kingdom and United States release also in 1988 and an extended album in 1989. The UK/US release featured tracks which had earlier been released in New Zealand on the Life in One Chord EP; the 1989 release contained all the songs from both the New Zealand album and the earlier EP.

A man in Bangkok has been arrested after riding a jet ski through a flooded street, sending waves across the water as friends filmed the stunt. Sorn Keadsiri, 27, said he hoped to lift locals' spirits amid the flooding. Sorn later apologized, saying he had not considered how his actions could affect others. A court sentenced him to 15 days in prison, suspended for a year, and fined him 5,000 baht. He was also placed on probation, ordered to complete community service, and had his jet ski confiscated.
