West Baltimore Stabbing Kills Woman; Man Charged

Dominique Wilson, 40, died after being stabbed Wednesday evening on Druid Hill Avenue in West Baltimore; officers and medical responders attempted CPR before she was taken to a hospital. Police identified 51-year-old Anthony Thomas as the suspect and arrested him, charging him with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and related offenses. Court records cited in one report say Thomas allegedly directed anti-gay slurs at a man walking with Wilson, and the two men argued before the stabbing. The motive and circumstances of the confrontation remain under investigation.
