Utilities schedule water outages in Tennessee and South Carolina cities

Clarksville Gas and Water scheduled several service interruptions for maintenance: an Inglewood Drive hydrant replacement on Oct. 16, a Taft Drive valve replacement on Oct. 19, Providence Boulevard leak repairs and valve replacement beginning Oct. 20, and Mill Creek Road valve work on Oct. 21. The Taft, Inglewood and Mill Creek work was expected to run from morning until about 4 p.m.; the Providence Boulevard outage was scheduled overnight, with lane shifts and service restoration expected by about 1 p.m. Oct. 21. Mill Creek Road was also to close near Northwood Terrace, while Providence Boulevard traffic was to be shifted and detoured. Separately, about 430 customers near Argent Boulevard and Short Cut Road in Hardeeville, South Carolina, were scheduled for a four-hour water shutdown overnight Nov. 5–6 as crews connected a new water main tied to broader road and intersection improvements.
