Fresno County Rollover Kills Driver, Seriously Injures Passenger

Two fatal crashes were reported in Fresno County. In a Thursday rollover on Friant Road, 25-year-old Keerat Riar of Clovis died after the McLaren he was driving lost control at high speed, struck a median and overturned; his 68-year-old passenger was seriously injured. CHP said drugs or alcohol do not appear to have contributed. In a separate multi-car crash Saturday at Brawley and Jensen avenues, a Volkswagen struck a Ford Fusion, which was also hit by a Ford pickup; the Fusion’s passenger died and three people were hospitalized. The victim in the Saturday crash had not been identified, and investigators did not suspect drugs or alcohol.
