US Counties Set Early Voting Dates, Sites

Early voting and other ballot-access options are opening on different schedules for the Nov. 3, 2026, election. In Chicago, in-person early voting begins at two Loop locations, while Nevada County, California, starts in-person voting Oct. 5 and offers additional sites later in the month. Ascension Parish, Louisiana, schedules early voting for Oct. 20–27, excluding Sunday, and Tulsa County, Oklahoma, will offer four sites Oct. 28–31, including two newly added locations. Ohio’s early voting begins Oct. 6, with in-person voting on scheduled dates through Nov. 1 as well as absentee and accessible ballot options. Voters should check local election officials for registration deadlines, locations and hours, which vary by jurisdiction.
