Texas Tops Arkansas as Gary Sets Dig Record

No. 9 Texas volleyball beat Arkansas in four sets after dropping the opener, with Torrey Stafford recording a season-high 29 kills and reaching 1,500 career kills. Texas also set a rally-scoring-era record with 33 digs from Gary, while Addy Gaido added 12 kills. Two days later, the Longhorns’ three-match winning streak ended with a three-set loss at Oklahoma, despite a late rally in the third set that erased four match points. The results left Texas 4-2 in SEC play.
