Tyler Reddick won the Freeway Insurance 500 at Phoenix Raceway, charging from fourth on a late restart after his team’s two-tire strategy helped him take the lead, then holding off Ryan Blaney by 0.801 seconds. It was Reddick’s sixth win of the season and first since April; with three races remaining, he is seventh in the standings, 56 points behind leader Kyle Larson. Larson suffered a tire failure and crash, while Christopher Bell finished fourth and moved to within five points of Larson; Denny Hamlin also lost ground. Blaney finished second and Chase Elliott third, and the series heads to Talladega next.
