Cardinals Sign Jedrick Wills After Johnson Injury
The Arizona Cardinals are signing offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. off the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad after starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. suffered a season-ending torn biceps. Wills, the 10th overall pick in the 2020 draft, has started 57 NFL games, all with Cleveland, but has been sidelined by knee injuries and did not play in 2025. Arizona is bringing him in to bolster a depleted offensive line and potentially protect quarterback Jacoby Brissett, though his availability and effectiveness remain uncertain after his extended absence. NFL rules require Wills to count toward the Cardinals’ 53-man roster for at least three weeks.
