Texans Open Tank Dell’s 21-Day Practice Window
The Houston Texans plan to open wide receiver Tank Dell’s 21-day practice window this week as he recovers from a severe knee injury suffered in December 2024. Dell missed the entire 2025 season and the first four games of 2026 while recovering from damage to multiple ligaments and other parts of his knee. Houston will have three weeks from the start of the window to activate him to the roster; otherwise, he must remain on season-ending injured reserve. Returning to practice does not guarantee Dell will play soon, and the Texans also plan to open practice windows for offensive tackle Braden Smith and defensive tackle Kayden McDonald.
