Logano Wins Bristol After Late-Race Incident

Joey Logano won the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, passing Carson Hocevar and Ty Gibbs with seven laps remaining after a chaotic restart. Logano led 93 of the 500 laps, beat Kyle Larson by 1.248 seconds, and earned his third victory of the 2026 season, third at Bristol and 40th career Cup Series win. Larson finished second, followed by Hocevar, Christopher Bell and Gibbs, and moved into the championship lead. Ryan Blaney led 202 laps but finished 33rd after contact with Hocevar sent him into a late crash, prompting a post-race pit-road fight between the drivers. The race included 13 lead changes and 10 cautions, along with tributes to the late Kyle Busch, while Joe Gibbs Racing separately accused Spire Motorsports of violating a court order in an intellectual-property lawsuit; Spire denied wrongdoing.
