Seastreak explores high-speed 2027 NYC-Atlantic City ferry
Seastreak and Atlantic City developers are considering a high-speed ferry between Lower Manhattan and Farley State Marina near the Golden Nugget, with a trial potentially starting by Memorial Day 2027. The proposal remains preliminary, and the operator says it is assessing vessel availability, schedules, and other operational details with casino owners and city stakeholders. The trip is estimated at about two hours and 45 minutes, with a round-trip fare discussed at roughly $145; Seastreak may use its 600-passenger Commodore or Courageous ferries. Developers see the service as a way to attract visitors, including to a proposed development at Bader Field, which is still years from completion.
